I spent about an hour in the Abdi’s lovely home capturing their new son, Arman. I loved his nursery theme – elephants!

Lifestyle newborn sessions are a relaxed way to get photos of your newborn once you’ve gotten settled in at home. We make sure to capture those tiny newborn details as well as the connection between the new baby and their family in a comfortable home environment.

Baby M – 9 Months

Last April, I photographed this sweetheart in the hospital before she was even 24 hours old. I have photographed her every 3 months and this past Sunday did her 9 month photos. Only 3 more months until she’s a big one year old! For her 9 month session, I went to the family’s house and did a lifestyle session, which was a fun change from our normal park sessions.

I am really looking forward to taking her one year pictures in a few months. She will sure look cute with cake smashed all over those adorable chubby cheeks! -Kristen

Myer Family – Hospital Newborn Session

Lifestyle and Posed Newborn Session

I recently did my first lifestyle newborn session. I also did some posed photos of the precious girl. I really enjoyed being able to capture this family in their first week with a new baby. I figured that I would like lifestyle photography, but since I’ve only ever done it with my own son, I didn’t know how well it would go in someone else’s home. I’m pleased to say I was pleasantly surprised. There are certainly challenges with working in a totally new environment, but that’s part of the fun. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed capturing them!
