My son, Elijah, recently turned two. I have been kicking myself since his first birthday that I never did official one year photos of him, so I made sure to give him a 2 year old session! Getting this kid to sit still is nearly impossible, so I just had to kind of trick him into standing in front of the backdrop (don’t you stand on my blanket! Nope, don’t do it!) and do some lifestyle type stuff. I may be partial, since I’m his mommy, but I think I got a lot of cute pictures, even without him posing!
I picked up this chalk board door hanger for around $2 at Walmart. I thought it would be a cute little photo prop.

I’m really in love with his eyelashes!
He spent some time playing under a blanket while I took pictures.
He looks a lot like me when I was little in this next picture.
He’s had this frog, that he now calls Bibbit, since a few days after he was born. Daddy got it for him when he was in the NICU. He sleeps with Bibbit every night.
This picture shows his personality so well. Happy, silly, and little crazy.

The shadow from the blinds added a little something different to this picture!

Playing on Mommy and Daddy’s bed is always fun! I love pictures like this, of the little things, like his tiny tush on our big bed.
